These would be a challenge to make, but would be nice on a bed.

I like the slightly more open design of the second.

Love it!
Love the mixture of piecing, applique and quilting.

I cannot pick a favourite between the two of these.

One of the more disappointing collection of blocks I have in my collection, but I like the results when I put them together …

… mainly because the variety of the block designs is limited.
I like the single bed design best of these two designs.

Strawberry season is over, not that I have had success with growing them since moving into this area. Maybe putting them in a pot in a protected spot where we can protect it from birds. And keep a good supply of icecream in the freezer.

I have just remembered that amongst the projects waiting for attention there is a small strawberry themed quilt. Perhaps I should make that one of this years projects to complete.
In the meantime, I can enjoy playing with strawberry blocks in virtual quilt designs.

Love the name of this project file … and love the block designs, and the quilt designs I find when playing with the placement of the blocks.

Love the first design today, and after changing just 8 blocks the second invites me to make it better!

I have been at a quilt retreat for a few days, with machines humming, and voices raised to be heard over the machines, and othe voices, not to mention the laughter! The first design today looks so peaceful in contrast!

Things will be busy for the next few weeks, but on the whole much quieter than the last few days, but probably not so much laughter.
I love both designs, but the second one is my favourite.

A different species of Banksia with very different leaf shape in today’s designs …

… and some quilting motifs added to the second design.

WOW!
I love dark backgrounds.

I like the light background too, but the dark really looks stunning.

Interesting, but I am not sure if I like it, but it could be an interesting playground to play with the blocks and see what else can happen with them.

The second design is much more to my liking!

A few applique blocks, and a few quilted motifs.

These designs would work in any two colours with good contrast with rather stunning results.

Interesting mix of blocks to play with, plus colours I like, room for quilting motifs and some background fillers. For me there is nothing to not like about this project file.

I love the second design!

This project file is a new recent addition to my toy box … but I am having fun adding more blocks, changing fabrics, though some fabrics are still plain.

I like the pale backgrounds … I have never tried using such pale fabrics in borders, but it looks very restful.

Have just cleaned out this project of all the dust, and painted over the rust. The original colours were brown on gold.

If I lived in Bendigo I would paint the house in a light colour, with green wrought iron around the verandas to keep it looking fresh during the heat of summer.

I love the first one … I would make the blocks big enough to fit whatever size bed it was going to be used on, but add more plain border to hang over the side of the bed.

The second design is too busy … no room for quilting, or for my eyes to rest.

Love the design above … a very jolly combination of Christmas colours.

Love the second design too … I think, maybe , my favourite is the first, but I may be wrong!

Love the design … and love the colours for Christmas.

I like the second design too, particularly the quilting thread colour … I would use white thread for a filler design.
This is a new project file, but it is really just a continuation of a couple of previous files with a colour change. I still like the previous colours so will continue to share them sometimes.

All the designs in this project file are pretty … and the one above certainly is pretty.

I particularly like the border of the second design.
